Do Not Draw on Skin: The pen tip reaches high temperatures during use and may cause burns. While the filament itself is safe to touch, avoid drawing directly on your skin.

Seamless usage, smarter safety

When not in use, the myFirst 3D Pen Art switches to idle mode, lowering its temperature to a safer 130°C (266°F), keeping the pen ready to be used again.

Easy to use

  • Getting Started

    Step 1: Plug in the 3D Artist Pen and set the temperature to the desired level.

    Step 2: Insert the filament into the loading hole.

    Step 3: Press and hold, or double-click, the loading button to heat the pen to the set temperature.

    Step 4: Begin by drawing a straight line on a flat surface, adjusting the filament flow speed to your comfort.

    Step 1: Release or double-click the load button to stop the process.

    Step 2: Press and hold or double-click the unload button to start removing the filament.

    Step 3: Once the 3D pen finishes unloading, remove the filament.

Tips and Tricks

  1. Speed Control: Adjust the pen speed to suit your drawing style. Slower speeds are better for detailed work, while faster speeds are great for filling large areas.

The myFirst 3D Pen uses PLA filament, which is a safe, biodegradable plastic commonly used in 3D printing. Compared to other filaments used in 3D printing, PLA melts at a lower temperature, making it ideal for 3D pens as the pen does not need to reach very high temperatures.

Is the filament hot when it comes out of the pen?

Our filament temperatures vary, but they get extremely hot, so we do not recommend touching the plastic within the first 5 seconds after it exits the pen. Please do not touch the tip of the pen when it is hot, as it may cause burns.

Can I draw on skin?

Please do not try to draw on your skin with the 3Doodler Create as you may burn yourself!

While the plastic is completely safe to touch once cooled, making it perfect for creating wearables like jewelry, masks, glasses, and earrings, the nozzle of the 3Doodler Create can get uncomfortably warm. Avoid direct contact of the nozzle with your skin.

Also, please be careful not to get the plastic stuck in your hair as it will be hard to remove.
